Quality Education in Springfield

The process chart provides an
outline for how the Springfield
Public Schools will gather
community and staff input to
formulate the quality education
model. This vision of quality
education will drive the focus of
Springfield Public Schools for
the years to come. District
initiatives, school improvement
plans, professional development
opportunities, and identification
and allocation of resources will
be determined by how they
achieve the community's vision
for quality education.

Upon completion of the framework for the Springfield Quality Education Model, we will begin the funding and implementation phases of the initiative. This includes determining the cost to deliver students our vision of quality education, and then identifying and allocating resources based on those needs. We will also identify top priorities and key leverage points for obtaining this vision of quality education. The Springfield QEM will be used as a guide in budgeting process and in formulating district initiatives.
