School Highlights:

•Separate Trails, or learning areas, for each grade.  Sixth grade students downstairs, 7th and 8th grade students upstairs.

•School run business: Dream Catcher Enterprises.  Our student employees work throughout the school in various positions, including office assistants, maintenance worker, classroom, media and computer assistants, store manager and more.

•Positive Behavioral Support Program which is designed to foster a positive school environment emphasizing respect, cooperation, and academic excellence.

•Trailmaster Recognition Program: A program designed to recognize students who are in good standing academically, behaviorally and attend school regularly.  Students may apply for TM status each quarter following report cards.  Approval results in TM status and additional benefits for the nine week period.

•Strong survey and elective program for our students.

        o    Sixth grade students may take band or orchestra, or participate in a rotation that includes Family and Consumer Studies, Art, Computers, Recycling, Drama and First Aid. 

        o   Seventh grade students may take band, orchestra or choir, or participate in a rotation that includes Art, Computers, Spanish, Leadership, Drama and Family and Consumer Studies.

        o    Eighth grade students may take two electives.  Choices include Band, Orchestra, Choir, Art, Computers, Spanish, Leadership, Drama, Family and Consumer Studies, Woodshop, Dream Catchers, Fit 4 Life.
