Middle School Summer School, 2008
Springfield School District is sponsoring five sessions of summer school for middle school students. This summer, each middle school will host the summer programs. The Summer School Student Registration Form is available on our website or in the Briggs office. Session 1: Agnes Stewart MS (988-2520), July 7 - August 1, 8:15 - 11:45 a.m. (M-Th). Session 2: Briggs MS (744-6350), July 21 - August 15, 8:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (M-Th). Session 3: Hamlin MS (744-6356), July 14 - August 1, 8:30 - 11:50 a.m. (M-F). Session 4: Springfield MS (744-6362), June 16 - July 10, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (M-Th). Session 5: Thurston MS (744-6468) @ Ridgeview Elementary, July 28 - August 15, Applications are being accepted June 3 to June 22. The registration fee of $10.00 is due on or before the first day of summer school. A $5.00 refund will be given for perfect attendance. Click here for Summer School Application-->>
Briggs Middle School Library will be open on Wednesdays in July and August, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Come in and check out books OR add to your Reading Counts total by taking Reading Counts tests!!! Only those students without fines or overdue books will be allowed to check out books. Drawings will be held at the beginning of the school year for students who utilized the library over the summer.
