Students are expected to pre-register and complete final registration for the school in their attendance area even though a request for a transfer has been submitted.

The Springfield School District allows parents to request their student to attend any other school within the district. The "Open Enrollment" period for transfer requests begins in January of each year. Once a student has been approved for a transfer, the transfer remains in effect for the remainder of their level (Elementary, Middle or High).

Parents must provide transportation both to and from school for all transfer students.
