Telecommunications
Digital Paging
Provide digital paging capabilities with support for local,
regional, and national paging. The system should include provision
for voicemail, alpha paging, and email. Support for up to 25
units.
Cellular Telephone
Provide cellular telephone capabilities including support
for digital and alpha paging, voicemail, two-way communication "walkie-talkie" capability,
cellular voice, text paging, GPS, and data communications.
Support for upwards of 220 cellular devices is required. The
District budget does not provide for the purchase of all new
cellular telephone equipment so the successful vendor must
be able to support existing Springfield cellular devices and
have the capability to maintain existing district telephone
numbers.
Voice Over IP (VOIP) Systems
Provide Cisco Call Manager Express hardware (Cisco 2811 Router
with CCME Voice Bundle), required software, and installation
services required to implement VOIP for the following location:
Thurston Elementary School – Vendor to provide up to
20 Cisco 7960 IP phones and 20 Cisco 7940 IP phones, or similar
Cisco models.
Internet Access
Leased Fiber Maintenance
Provide maintenance and repair services for leased dark fiber.
Service includes emergency repair, splicing and maintenance
of the existing SUB fiber.
Internal Connections
Network Switches
Purchase up to 24 Cisco 2950 network switches (or similar
Cisco models) for replacement of network hubs in the schools.
These may be a combination of 24 and 48 port switches.
Cisco Network Hardware for New Schools
Provide Cisco hardware to support telecommunications and
computer network at two new schools in the district. The network
will include up to 50 VOIP telephones and 200 – 300 computers
running on wired and wireless networks.
Power Over Ethernet Switches
Provide Cisco 7960 48 10/100 CIS-WS-C3560-48PS-S devices,
or similar Cisco model network switches.
Network Wiring for New Schools
Provide system design and installation for network wiring to
support video, card lock, automatic door lock, telecommunications,
and computer network wiring throughout our new schools. |
