Educational Specifications (Ed Specs)

An architect has been chosen to design the new Maple Elementary and Thurston Elementary Schools. The design process, referred to as Educational Specifications, or Ed Specs, includes extensive planning, school tours, user interviews, and community input to help guide the process.

The target date for opening the two schools is fall 2009.

Three public sessions took place to solicit staff and community input, and user interviews were conducted to solicit information from staff and school users.
