6th Grade Supplies 2007-2008 School Year:

• large binder (3" rings) without folders or pee-chees
• pencil pouch, 3-holed
• notebook subject dividers (at least 6)
• set of colored pencils
• glue stick
• box of tissues
• 3 ink pens (blue or black)--no erasable pens
• lined 3-ringed notebook paper (wide ruled or college ruled)
• 12" ruler with metric and English units
• scissors
• 12 #2 pencils
• hole reinforcers
• protractor
• drawing compass (for making circles)
• basic, inexpensive calculator

Physical Education:

P.E classes are co-educational and students are expected to dress down each day. Students will be expected to dress down by the 5th day of school.

Bottoms:  Any loose fitting pull-on shorts or sweatpants without buttons or zippers.
Tops:  HMS P.E. shirt is required.  They may be purchased at registration or throughout the year for $6.00
Socks:  white athletic or tube socks
Shoes:  Tennis or athletic shoes with non-marking soles.  Must have laces and be tied appropriately for class.
              No platform/dress shoes, sandals or flip-flops.

ALL CLOTHING SHOULD HAVE THE STUDENTS’ NAME MARKED WITH PERMANENT INK.
