Announcing the Springfield School District’s 2nd Annual K-12 Film Festival!
Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30-8:00pm
Springfield Public Schools Board Room
The 2nd Annual Film Festival is a celebration of student creativity and learning through film and technology.
This festival is a district-wide invitation for students to showcase their creativity through the media of film. These types of projects provide students with an authentic opportunity in which to use their writing, reading, visual arts, and technical skills. A change in this year's Festival is that it will only feature video projects; student podcasts will be celebrated through an online competition.
Event Date: This year's Film Festival will be held on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30-8:00pm in the SPS Board Room.
Judging: A panel of judges will screen each entry and select finalists for each level (elementary, middle, high). Finalists will be presented at the SPS Board Room on June 2. Judges will also make recommendations for special awards (e.g., sound, documentary) as appropriate.
If you are interested in having your students participate or in being a judge, please fill out the online form.
