High School Podcasting Projects

According to the Pew Internet & American Life Project, "more than half of online teens have created content for the internet (1)."

The Springfield Podcasting Project provides a forum for highlighting student work produced under the guidance of their teachers. These projects feature original work and demonstrate the skills of our students in areas including writing, oral reading fluency, expression, and creativity.

Four podcasting projects that are currently happening in Springfield School District high schools include:

• Ciencias, Springfield HS
• French Class, Springfield HS
• ColtCast, Thurston HS
• Spanish Class, Thurston HS
