Students who will reach age 5 on or before Sept. 1 (born on or before Sept. 1, 2008) are eligible to enroll in kindergarten in our district for the 2013-14 school year. (Yes, that's the class of 2026!)
Elementary open houses were held this spring throughout the district to give the community the opportunity to take a look around and meet the staff at their neighborhood schools. Registration events will also be held later this spring.
If you live within the school's boundaries, you may register at any time prior to the beginning of the school year. However, registering sooner is encouraged to ensure you receive critical information from the school.
When it comes time to register your student, you will need to show a birth certificate, Social Security card and immunization records, and be ready with emergency contact information. (Note: Low-cost immunizations are available through our School-Based Health Center. Click here to see what's required for 2013-14, or here for a list of Frequently Asked Questions about immunizations.)
Students applying from elsewhere within or outside of our district should pay attention to Transfer Guidelines.
