Payment Procedures
Payments for student breakfasts and lunches may be made to the office or directly to the food services clerk in the cafeteria between 8:15 and 8:35 daily. The studentís account will be credited, and the student may draw from that balance until it is depleted. The child will be notified when it is time to make another payment. Charges must be limited.
Free- and Reduced-price Lunches & Breakfasts
Families meeting the income guidelines are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Forms to apply for this program are available in the school office. If you have questions about this program, please contact the food services office at 726-3235.
Lunches from Home
Students are welcome to bring lunches from home. Some lunches packed by children and not inspected by a parent do not contain the nutrition a child needs for healthy development. Parents are asked to assure that their child brings a nutritious lunch so that s/he stays healthy and alert for school.
Parents are welcome to join their child for lunch at school. We maintain separate tables for parents and children to eat together, and this is always a special occasion for the child. Parents may bring a lunch or purchase an adult lunch from the office during the school day.
