ThE WET Project

An Educational Partnership between Springfield Public Schools and EWEB

The WET Project is a long standing relationship between Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) and Springfield Public Schools.  EWEB funds K-12 science education related to water and electricity in Springfield Schools.  Many innovative and successful science programs have been established with the grant money generously donated by EWEB, including hands on lessons about salmon and their relationship to macro-invertebrates, the STEP Program (Salmon and Trout Enhancement Program), STC Electricity kits and demonstration shows, the Aircar Engineering Program, the Solar Challenge Project, and Electrathon Cars.
